Payment Information

• Payment transactions are processed by Stripe
• We do not store your credit card numbers
• We store Stripe customer IDs and transaction records

Usage Information

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and features used
• Date and time of visits

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Service: We use your resume and job posting data to generate optimized content
• To process payments: We use payment information to complete transactions
• To communicate: We may send service-related emails (account updates, security alerts)

3. AI Processing

Your resume and job posting data is processed by AI systems (including OpenAI) to generate optimized content. By using our Service, you acknowledge that:

• Your content is transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing
• AI providers may retain data according to their own policies
• We take reasonable steps to minimize data retention by AI providers

AI Processing & Data Handling

Our resume optimization and generation features use OpenAI's language models to analyze and improve your documents. When you use these features:

• Your resume text, including your name, contact information, work history, education, and skills, is sent to OpenAI's API as part of the optimization prompt
• Job descriptions you provide (pasted or scraped) are also included in the prompt for tailored optimization
• Any additional context you enter (cover letter text, additional details) is included in the prompt
• OpenAI processes data according to their API Data Usage Policy, which states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models
• We do not store copies of AI-processed data beyond your generation records, which you can view and manage in your dashboard
• You can delete all your generation data at any time from your account settings
• We recommend that you do not include highly sensitive information (Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, etc.) in your resume uploads

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secure servers
• Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard hashing
• We use HTTPS for all data transmission
• We implement access controls to limit data access
• While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers: Third parties that help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, AI providers)
• Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
