Why I Built Themis
After spending years as a contractor on NASA projects—where precision and reliability aren't optional—I watched friends and colleagues struggle with something that seemed absurd: their resumes weren't even being read.
They'd apply to dozens of jobs. Nothing. They'd tweak their resumes. Still nothing. Eventually, they'd find out that most companies use software to filter applications before a human ever sees them. If your resume doesn't have the right keywords or format, you're automatically rejected—regardless of how qualified you are.
That felt broken to me. So I built Themis.
Themis uses AI to tailor your resume for each job you apply to. It reads the job description, figures out what the employer is looking for, and rewrites your resume to match—in under 60 seconds. Same experience, same qualifications, just presented in a way that actually gets past the filters.
The name comes from the Greek goddess of justice. Because it shouldn't matter how fancy your resume template is or whether you happened to use the exact phrase the filtering software was looking for. What should matter is whether you can do the job.
